Job Summary

Answer and respond to Operations Service Inquiries (OSI) and inbound calls from sales reps and other Medline employees.

Job Description

Responsibilities:

1. Answer OSIs and inbound calls from sales reps and Medline employees.
2. Determine appropriate transportation modes for moving products or raw materials between branches, manufacturing facilities, and Medline customers.
3. Communicate and coordinate with carriers, operations, sales teams, and occasionally with customers.
4. Participate in department initiatives such as scheduling and inside delivery projects.
5. Arrange for rush carriers and rescues as needed.

Required Experience:

1. At least 2 years of experience as a Transportation Coordinator or in a related role.
2. Knowledge of transportation practices.
3. Basic understanding of statistical analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

1. Degree in Logistics, Transportation, Finance, Business, or equivalent experience.
2. Experience with SAP.

The salary range for this position is $20.25 - $28.25 per hour, commensurate with location, education, experience, skills, and abilities. Medline adheres to minimum wage laws.
