Product Specialist

Position Overview

Chatham Parkway Lexus is looking for a customer-focused Product Specialist to join our team. This role is designed for individuals who enjoy helping people, learning new technology, and creating an exceptional dealership experience without high-pressure sales tactics.

As a Product Specialist, you will serve as a vehicle expert and customer guide — helping guests understand Lexus features, technology, performance, and ownership benefits in a relaxed and transparent environment. Think of the role as similar to an “Apple Store Genius” for luxury automotive customers.

Compensation

• $25/hour fixed hourly pay
• Performance-based bonus opportunities

What You’ll Do

Customer Experience & Education

• Provide a welcoming, low-pressure experience for every guest
• Educate customers on Lexus vehicles, trim levels, performance, and technology
• Explain infotainment systems, safety features, driver-assist technology, and connectivity options
• Assist customers with pairing phones, setting up technology, and understanding vehicle functions

Vehicle Demonstrations & Test Drives

• Conduct professional walkarounds and in-depth vehicle demonstrations
• Accompany customers on test drives to highlight vehicle features and answer questions
• Help customers compare models and determine the best fit for their lifestyle and needs

Consultative Sales Support

• Build relationships through trust, product knowledge, and outstanding service
• Guide customers through the vehicle selection process without high-pressure closing techniques
• Support the sales team by creating a comfortable and transparent buying experience

Vehicle Delivery

• Deliver sold vehicles to customers
• Ensure customers fully understand vehicle features and operation before leaving the dealership
• Follow up to answer additional questions and reinforce a premium ownership experience
