US Product Specialist

Are you passionate about the HDD industry and looking for an opportunity to be part of a winning team? Then look no further. At Inrock, part of the Sandvik Group, we’re now looking for a Product Specialist!

About us

Inrock Drilling Systems is one of the world’s largest tooling and service providers serving the horizontal directional drilling (HDD) industry. We provide tools and services to HDD contractors globally to help them install infrastructure pipelines transporting water, sewer, oil, gas, electric and fiber underneath geological and man-made obstacles.

Your mission

In this role you will play a key part the in taking Inrock to the next phase of growth. Reporting to the Regional Sales Director, you will:

  • Travel within the US supporting Inrock clients with Air Hammer startups and training crews with operations
  • Develop and maintain contact with key decision-makers within the customer base including management representatives, engineers, drilling superintendents or other personnel within the customer’s organization
  • Assist with improvements to existing products and development of new products
  • Represent Inrock at trade shows and conferences
  • Monitor and report HDD drilling activity in the region and provide input as to changing market conditions so as to assist with input in marketing strategy

About you

  • Deep understanding of the North American HDD market trends, competitive landscapes, and customer behavior
  • 5 years of experience with HDD air hammers
  • Preferably a bachelor’s degree in business, engineering, or equivalent experience
  • A strategic, customer-centric mindset with the ability to influence and engage
  • Excellent communication, strong presence, and negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel domestically for customer interaction, representation, and internal meetings
