Job summary

FIVES Landis Corp. – CITCO Tools in Concord Twp., Ohio is seeking a Product Specialist to join the Inside Sales team.

You will demonstrate added value of cutting tool products to improve customer processes and help identify cost savings, while supporting the sales staff with new business opportunities. The role requires a high school diploma and 1–5 years of sales or machining applications experience; cutting/dressing/grinding background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required.
• 1–5 years of sales or application experience in machining preferred.
• Cutting tool, dressing tool, or grinding experience preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform product and applications analysis and identify improvements and solutions.
• Provide customer quotations; product descriptions, and material specifications.

• Regularly interact with the manufacturing plant to learn, test, and improve product performance.

Salary

Salary Range: 65K – 75K (salary is determined by experience)

Role

Your role as a Product Specialist will be to:

• Demonstrate added value of cutting tool products to improve customer process and demonstrate cost savings.
• Support the sales team with identifying new business and marketing growth opportunities.
• Ability to perform product and applications analysis and identify product improvements and solutions.
• Provide customer quotations; product descriptions, and material specifications.
• Act as a technical resource for outside sales, customer service, and marketing team.
• Travel and test products at customer sites when required.
• Regularly interact with the manufacturing plant to learn, test, and improve product performance.
• Ability to learn machine processes, technical products, and configurations.
• Ability to generate and maintain product performance reports, forecasts, application opportunities, and trends.

At CITCO Tools and under the direction of the Production Manager, you will join the Inside Sales team.

We are seeking a candidate who has at minimum a high school diploma, 1-5 years of sales experience or application experience in machining preferred. Cutting tool, dressing tool, and/or grinding experience preferred. Required strong oral & written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong use of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint a plus. If you are a self-starter, able to work independently and work within a team setting, then we are eager to change the world with you!
