Job summary

Fives Landis Corp. – CITCO Tools in Concord Township, Ohio, is seeking a Product Specialist to join the Inside Sales team.

You will demonstrate the value of cutting tool products, support the sales force, and perform product and applications analysis to drive improvements and cost savings. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma with 1–5 years of sales or machining application experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma; 1–5 years of sales or application experience in machining preferred.
• Experience with cutting tools/dressing/grinding is preferred.
• Strong oral and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Self-starter, able to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate added value of cutting tool products to improve customer process and demonstrate cost savings.
• Support the sales team with identifying new business and marketing growth opportunities.
• Ability to perform product and applications analysis and identify product improvements and solutions.
• Provide customer quotations; product descriptions, and material specifications.
• Act as a technical resource for outside sales, customer service, and marketing team.
• Travel and test products at customer sites when required.
• Regularly interact with the manufacturing plant to learn, test, and improve product performance.
• Ability to learn machine processes, technical products, and configurations.
• Ability to generate and maintain product performance reports, forecasts, application opportunities, and trends.

Salary Range: 65K – 75K

(salary is determined by experience)

At CITCO Tools and under the direction of the Production Manager, you will join the Inside Sales team.

We are seeking a candidate who has at minimum a high school diploma, 1-5 years of sales experience or application experience in machining preferred. Cutting tool, dressing tool, and/or grinding experience preferred. Required strong oral & written communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality. Strong use of Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint a plus. If you are a self-starter, able to work independently and work within a team setting, then we are eager to change the world with you!
