Job summary

Fives Landis Corp in Concord Twp., Ohio is seeking a CNC Grinding Machinist to join the team. The role involves setting up and operating CNC grinders, reading blueprints, and ensuring parts meet tight tolerances.

You will work on first or second shift with competitive pay and room to grow within a global tooling leader. A high school diploma and CNC experience are preferred, with G-code skills as a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a High School diploma, 1 year of manufacturing & CNC operator experience.
• Programming experience with G-code is a plus.
• Self-motivated problem solver with a keen eye for precision.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate CNC machines, including loading materials, securing workpieces, selecting tooling, and ensuring machines run within required tolerances.
• Monitor machining processes, make program edits or machine adjustments as needed, and inspect machined parts to verify conformance to specifications.
• Perform routine maintenance, replace worn or defective tooling, and maintain tooling inventory, wheel usage records, and production documentation.
• Use precision measuring tools to verify part accuracy and document any changes to CNC programs or machining processes.

Hours: 1st shift 7:00am- 3:30pm, 2nd shift 3:30pm-12am
