Job summary

Fives Landis Ltd seeks a Surface Grinder Operator in Cleveland, OH to join the CITCO Tools division. You will set up and operate surface grinding machines, read blueprints, and inspect components to ensure accuracy.

The role offers a 1st shift with possible overtime, supporting a history of industrial tooling leadership. A High School Diploma and at least 1 year manufacturing experience are required.

• Minimum of a High School Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts.
• Adjust machine settings and grinding wheels to achieve correct size and finish.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure parts meet spec.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision tools for accuracy.
• Follow all quality control, safety, and production standards.
• Work with steel, carbide, and other materials to produce finished components.

FLC-CITCO Tools is actively seeking a Surface Grinder Operator to join its team in Concord Twp., Ohio.

1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM Overtime Available

We are seeking someone with a minimum of:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of manufacturing experience, previous machinist or tooling experience preferred
• Strong shop math capabilities to calculate dimensions & tolerance.
• Familiarity with reading Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other documents.
