Job summary

Krueger International (KI) seeks a Product Solutions Engineer at our Green Bay, WI corporate office. You will collaborate with sales, manufacturing and supply chain to tailor standard seating, tables, desks, and storage into client-specific solutions, balancing design, cost and lead times.

Bring a mechanical engineering degree and 3+ years of experience to evaluate requests, develop manufacturable options, estimate costs, and guide projects from concept to delivery.

Qualifications

• Associate's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Strong critical-thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Experience managing multiple projects and priorities.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes, product development, and cost estimation.
• Experience within the commercial furniture industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate customer modification requests and develop practical, manufacturable product solutions that meet design, performance, and cost requirements.
• Develop estimates for materials, labor, tooling, and testing costs to support project planning and customer quotations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams, suppliers, and internal stakeholders to assess feasibility and successfully implement product modifications.
• Manage product testing and validation activities to ensure modified products meet applicable quality, ergonomic, and performance standards.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, balancing customer needs, project timelines, and financial objectives.
