KI in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Product Solutions Engineer to customize standard furniture products for unique client specs. You will partner with sales, manufacturing, and supply chain to ensure feasible, profitable designs and successful project delivery.

The role requires a mechanical engineering degree and 3+ years of experience, with a focus on cost estimation, manufacturing processes, and design for cost. This is an onsite role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes and cost estimation.
• Experience with product development and design for cost.
• Experience in the commercial furniture industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate client modification requests and develop manufacturable product solutions that meet design, performance and cost requirements.
• Develop estimates for materials, labor, tooling and testing costs to support planning and quotations.
• Collaborate with manufacturing teams, suppliers and stakeholders to assess feasibility of modifications.
• Manage product testing and validation to ensure quality and performance standards.
• Provide technical expertise throughout the project lifecycle, balancing customer needs with timelines and budget.
