Job summary

Krueger International (KI) in Green Bay, WI is seeking a Project Engineer (or Project Engineer II/Sr.) to join our Design team. The role covers product design across KI's broad portfolio and is open to all experience levels.

You will conduct conception, detailed design, and documentation; work with Marketing to ensure cost, performance, and aesthetics meet client expectations; and collaborate with Purchasing or Manufacturing for ROI data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an associate's degree in mechanical design.
• 2+ years of experience in new product development for consumer or commercial products.
• 2+ years of experience using CAD/CAE, preferably Creo.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Conception and detailed design of product designs.
• Generate documentation to support development.
• Apply engineering analysis and root-cause methods to solve problems.
• Develop concepts and prototypes and evaluate design feasibility.
• Work with Marketing to validate designs meet market/cost/aesthetics requirements.
• Provide tooling-cost information from Purchasing/Manufacturing for ROI analysis.
• Collaborate in a multi-functional team for continuous improvement.
