Job summary

Goosehead-Insurance is seeking a Product Solution Analyst to translate product strategy and business needs into clearly defined solutions that align with development plans. You’ll work with Product Managers, UX/Design, Engineering, and QA to define requirements, stories, and acceptance criteria, while refining the backlog and supporting SDLC activities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in related roles, strong agile experience, and a knack for translating complex business concepts into actionable

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business, technology, information systems, engineering, finance, or a related field preferred.
• 3+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, Business Systems Analyst, Product Analyst, Product Solution Analyst, or similar role supporting software development.
• Experience working directly with software development teams in an Agile environment.
• Demonstrated experience translating business requirements into user stories, functional requirements, workflows, and acceptance criteria.
• Strong understanding of Agile software development practices and the SDLC.
• Experience managing or refining product backlogs.

Responsibilities

• Translate product strategy, roadmap initiatives, and business problems into clearly defined capabilities and solutions.
• Develop epics, features, user stories, and acceptance criteria for development teams.
• Maintain and refine the product backlog based on priorities and feedback.
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and provide clarification during implementation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, QA, UX/Design, and other functions throughout the SDLC.
• Support user acceptance testing, release readiness, and documentation.
