Product Services/Regulatory & Compliance Specialist (REMOTE)

Position Summary: The Product Services/Regulatory Compliance Analyst supports product maintenance, development, and management across all Commercial Insurance Lines. This role facilitates cross-departmental initiatives including Underwriting, Legal, Claims, Actuarial, IT, and Operations.

Major Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and file new Commercial Lines products, amendments, coverages, rating plans, and programs compliant with laws and aligned with business goals.
  2. Manage and update Commercial Lines products, forms, rules, and rating plans to ensure regulatory compliance.
  3. Implement approved rate/rule/form changes in policy issuance systems.
  4. Assist in developing product filings to expedite approval processes.
  5. Address filing objections with the State Filings Manager and collaborate with Business Units and Actuarial teams.
  6. Analyze legislative changes, propose actions, and circulate advisory bulletins as needed.
  7. Provide technical advice on policy issuance systems used by Commercial Lines.
  8. Support regulatory compliance activities including audits and examinations.
  9. Research and create reference tools on product issues for internal use.
  10. Specify product requirements for system implementation to IT and vendors.
  11. Manage special projects as assigned.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years of experience with State Filings for proprietary and bureau lines.
  • Experience in property and casualty products, management, and compliance is advantageous.
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Knowledge of Commercial Lines insurance products, policy language, and coverages.
  • Familiarity with policy admin systems and translating forms/rates/rules into system requirements is a plus.
