Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Product Security Lead to shape the product security strategy and embed security-by-design across the engineering lifecycle. You will partner with engineering, product, sales, and customer-facing teams to strengthen cloud and platform protections while supporting trust with customers and stakeholders.

Location: Remote – US-based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available. Compensation: $125,000–$150,000 annually.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in application, product, or cloud security.
• Strong SSDLC background required.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001 and SOC 2.

This role will shape the product security strategy and help embed security-by-design across the engineering lifecycle. You will partner closely with engineering, product, sales, and customer-facing teams to strengthen cloud and platform protections while supporting trust with customers and stakeholders. The position also plays a key role in translating regulatory expectations into practical controls and advancing the organization’s overall security maturity.

• Proven history of securing IoT and cloud-native architectures
• Ability to influence without authority across various stakeholders
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
• Experience with security assessment tools like OWASP and CSET
