Job summary

Ladders is seeking a Principal Product Manager, Security to shape security-focused product strategy across the organization, partnering with product, engineering, and security stakeholders to embed security requirements early in the design process.

You will own platform-level security investments, balance risk with usability, and help guide how AI is thoughtfully applied to security practices. The role involves engaging with the security community and influencing product standards.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of product management experience in security-critical SaaS products.
• Deep knowledge of security fundamentals including cryptography and IAM.
• Ability to earn credibility with security engineering teams and interpret technical specs.
• Experience in making risk-based tradeoffs and influencing roadmaps without formal authority.

For our client, we are seeking a Principal Product Manager, Security to join the team of a leader in the Information Technology space.

This role will shape security-focused product strategy across the organization, partnering closely with product, engineering, and security stakeholders to embed security requirements early in the design process. You will own key platform-level security investments, balance risk with usability, and help guide how AI is thoughtfully applied to security practices. The position also calls for active engagement with the security community and strong influence across the company to raise product standards.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $238,000 - $357,000 annually
