Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC is seeking a Product Security Engineer to shape security across Starshield hardware and software. You will design cryptographic services, secure boot, and security features for routers, dishes, gateways, and satellites, collaborating with other teams to ship reliable software for space-enabled government applications.

A Bachelor's degree or 2+ years in security software development, experience with Python/C++/Golang, and OS/network security familiarity are

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science or STEM OR 2+ years of security software development experience
• Experience with Python, C++, or Golang
• Experience designing and implementing security solutions for operating systems, distributed systems, or large-scale infrastructure

Responsibilities

• Design and build security infrastructure for Starshield, including cryptographic services
• Develop security features for Starshield systems (router, dish, gateways, satellites)
• Design security into factory processes and provide network services
• Maintain production systems and improve security posture
• Build prototypes and test security improvements
