Job summary

Cape is seeking an experienced Security Engineer specializing in product security to fortify our AWS cloud, mobile core, and apps. You’ll design, implement, and evolve security strategies and technologies to protect data and meet regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/Info Security or related field.
• Experience in information security with emphasis on cloud security in AWS environments (3+ years).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage security controls in AWS ensuring confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
• Conduct security assessments of cloud environments to identify vulnerabilities and recommend mitigations.
• Lead DevOps integration to promote secure development, deployment, and operations.
• Utilize AWS security tools (GuardDuty, Inspector, IAM, KMS, WAF, Shield) and third-party solutions.
• Address findings from penetration tests and audits with remediation.
• Stay updated on threats, compliance mandates, and best practices; provide strategic guidance.
• Mentor junior security team members and collaborate with stakeholders on security requirements.
