Job summary

Akamai Technologies GmbH is seeking a Security Architect to strengthen our Secure Software Development Lifecycle (S-SDLC) and drive risk-based remediation across product teams. You will model threats, review designs, and triage findings while embedding security into CI/CD workflows.

You will collaborate with developers, DevOps, and infosec to guide remediation, maintain security standards, and advance AI-enabled triaging solutions for secure software delivery at scale.

Qualifications

• Hands-on Product/Application Security experience.
• Expertise in SSDLC, secure design, and secure coding practices.
• Hands-on with SAST, DAST, SCA, IAST, and container security tools.
• Experience implementing secure AI in software development, agentic AI solutions.
• Experience with GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket, Jira/ServiceNow, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Understand cloud-native environments, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Strong cross-team communication and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Integrating security practices into the SSDLC across multiple product teams
• Performing threat modeling, design reviews, and secure code reviews
• Triaging and prioritizing findings from SAST, DAST, SCA, secrets scanning, and container security tools
• Creating, running, and improving agentic AI for triaging findings and remediation efforts.
• Partnering with developers and DevOps engineers to guide remediation and validate fixes
• Creating and maintaining security standards, developer guidelines, and policies
• Driving the integration of security tools into CI/CD pipelines and build workflows
