Job summary

Tundra Technical Solutions is seeking a contract engineering professional to support Boeing in Arizona. The role focuses on interpreting electrical drawings, wiring harnesses, and MRB processes, with on-site engineering support to Operations partners.

Candidates must hold a BS in engineering (BSME) and be a US citizen or US person, with availability for a 3 x 12 shift Fri-Sun in an industrial environment.

  • Engineering or technical degree from an ABET-accredited college.
  • Capable of reviewing and interpreting electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications.

Responsibilities

  • Applies Boeing Design Principles in conjunction with MRB processes to disposition discrepant products during initial fabrication and installation of electrical wire harnesses.
  • Provides on-site, direct engineering support to Operations partners.
  • Must be willing to support a 3 x 12 shift, Friday through Sunday, in an Operations/Production environment.

This posting is for a contract assignment and is not a full-time employment offer with Boeing. Candidates selected for roles will be employed as contract workers through a Boeing approved 3rd party for the duration of the specified project.

Regular and predictable attendance is required

Position Responsibilities:
  • Applies Boeing Design Principles in conjunction with Material Review Board (MRB) processes to disposition discrepant products during initial fabrication and installation of electrical wire harnesses
  • Provides on-site, direct engineering support to Operations partners
  • Must be willing to support a 3 x 12 shift, Friday through Sunday, in an Operations/Production environment
Preferred Skills:
  • Familiar with electrical fabrication and installation planning of electrical wire harnesses
  • Prior commercial airplane (BCA), or defense (BDS) systems knowledge
  • Prior knowledge of VC25 or 747 airplane design principles, including wiring diagrams, specifications
  • Prior Boeing MRB experience preferred
Required Skills:
  • US Citizen and/or US Person’s status
  • Engineering or technical degree from an ABET (preferred) accredited college
  • Capable of reviewing and interpreting electrical drawing diagrams, schematics, and specifications
Pay Rate Range

Min Pay Rate $55

Max Pay Rate $60
