Job summary

Pitney Bowes in Shelton, CT is seeking a Product Researcher to drive mixed‑methods UX research for our PLG and SLG shipping and mailing software. You uncover the jobs customers are trying to get done and translate insight into product direction. You will collaborate daily with product, engineering, data, and GTM teams.

You will conduct interviews, field visits, and usability studies, and help shape the roadmap with measurable experience metrics and actionable recommendations.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of applied UX, product, or design research experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Fluency across qualitative and quantitative methods with sound judgment about method selection.
• Working knowledge of survey design and basic quantitative analysis.
• Strong moderation skills that surface actual customer behavior.

Responsibilities

• Identify customer jobs and unmet product needs through interviews, field visits, and surveys.
• Observe workflows across warehouses, mailrooms, back offices, and mobile environments.
• Design tests and benchmark studies; track experience metrics and impact.
• Translate findings into insights that define product opportunities and direction.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, data, and go‑to‑market teams; communicate clearly.
