Job summary

Siemens Canada is seeking a Product Quality Manager for Ruggedcom Networks and Level Measurement portfolios. You will translate customer and regulatory requirements into robust quality plans, proactively manage risks, and drive successful product introductions through cross-functional collaboration and audits.

The role requires 3+ years in Quality Management Systems, knowledge of CE marking and related standards, and expertise in 8D, FMEA, and risk assessments.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ experience in Quality Management Systems and Integrated Management Systems.
• Strong understanding of quality standards, regulations and compliance (CE marking, product safety).
• Proficiency in quality methodologies: 8D, Root Cause Analysis, FMEA, QFD, Quality Gates.
• Knowledge of risk assessment methodologies and verification/validation processes.
• Understanding of product lifecycle management and non-conformance management.
• Strategic thinking and advisory skills with confidence to exercise veto authority.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong change management capabilities and analytical problem-solving mindset.
• Results-oriented with focus on continuous improvement.
• Data-driven decision-making approach and customer-centric mindset.

Responsibilities

• Advise the Product Owner on quality topics and strategic decisions.
• Advise the Head of Product Quality Managers on quality topics specific to Ruggedcom and Level.
• Escalate major process deviations to Management.
• Stop activities when necessary in coordination with Management.
• Ensure customer, regulatory and normative requirements are captured and translated into quality specifications.
• Maintain requirements traceability throughout the product lifecycle.
• Set measurable product quality objectives aligned with business and customer needs.
• Identify technical and process risks early in development cycle.
• Conduct risk assessments during planning and design phases.
• Ensure lessons learned from field failures are fed back into processes.
• Support internal and external audits, manage findings and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with R&D, Manufacturing and Product Management on quality aspects.
• Ensure cross-functional cooperation to achieve quality business goals.
