Job summary

Anduril Industries in Irvine, CA is seeking a Product Quality Engineer to own and improve reliability across the product lifecycle, with a focus on PCBA quality within electromagnetic warfare capabilities.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to define quality requirements, lead RCCA/MRB activities, support changes, and advance the Quality Management System, while pursuing opportunities to deliver secure, field-ready hardware.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a similar technical field.
• Experience with RF and/or electronic systems, especially PCBA design and sustainment.
• Knowledge of FMEA, APQP, and GD&T.
• Experience in aerospace/defense, automotive, medical device, or similar complex hardware.
• Ability to obtain and hold a US Security Clearance.
• Experience with AS9100 Quality Management System.

Responsibilities

• Own elimination of product risk to improve reliability across the product lifecycle, with a focus on PCBA quality.
• Define and improve product and process requirements; collaborate with production for inspections and tests.
• Work cross-functionally to define and implement quality requirements.
• Lead RCCA and MRB activities for PCBA and system interactions; share lessons learned.
• Lead containment actions for nonconforming parts on the production line.
• Support continuous improvement of the Quality Management System and documentation.
• Support investigations and projects at team/organization level.
