Job summary

IKEA Gruppe in Draper, Utah is seeking a Product Recovery Associate to support sustainability and product recovery efforts in the store. You will minimize damages, repackage and reassemble products, and price As-Is items to maximize store results while maintaining IKEA's quality standards.

The role emphasizes a strong customer focus, collaboration with the store team, and a commitment to environmentally responsible practices.

Qualifications

  • Retail experience.
  • Knowledge of how to build quality IKEA furniture.
  • Knowledge of waste management and sustainability principles.
  • Experience working in a customer and commercial-oriented business.

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to minimizing all internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.
  • Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly.
  • Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
  • Support the quality work in the store in order to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.

As a Product Recovery Associate, contributing to the recovery and sustainability work in the store, you will:

  • Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
  • Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

JOB TYPE – Permanent

HOURS - 34-40 hours per week /Benefits Eligible

SHIFTS – Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Work schedules are published one month in advance

The pay range for this role is $17.58-$24.83/hour

The anticipated posting closing date is on or around 9/21/26
