Job summary

IKEA in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Part-Time Product Recovery Associate to help minimize waste and maximize value by repackaging and remerchandising returned items. You’ll support sustainability goals, work evenings and weekends, and contribute to a positive store experience for customers.

Qualifications

• Retail experience is required or preferred.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to minimizing internal damages or costs related to IKEA products.
• Take action on products to give them a second chance, e.g., repackaging.
• Present products in As-Is condition with attractive pricing.
• Support quality work to improve customers' perceived product quality.
• Consider sustainability impact in recovery decisions.
• Support IKEA culture and diversity in the store environment.

As a Product Recovery Associate, contributing to the recovery and sustainability work in the store, you will:

• Contribute to minimizing all internal damages or other costs related to IKEA products.
• Take necessary action on products to give them a second chance, such as repackaging and assembly.
• Present IKEA products in As-Is using a strong commercial expression, selling these products with pride and setting relevant prices that are attractive to customers yet still generate the best results for the store.
• Support the quality work in the store in order to constantly improve customers' quality perception of IKEA products.
• Always consider the sustainability impact when deciding when and how to recover products.
• Contribute to an environment where IKEA culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.

HOURS: 12–20 hrs/week
SHIFT: Retail Environment; must be able to work nights & weekends.

The pay range for this role is $18.67 to $23.81
