Job summary

ASU's Enterprise Technology team seeks a Business and Data Analyst 2 to support data analysis and system requirements implementation within the Product & UX portfolio. You will translate requirements into testable criteria and collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure quality releases.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and three years of experience or equivalent combination.
• Experience writing and executing manual test cases and test plans.
• Experience identifying, documenting, and tracking software defects through resolution.
• Experience with functional and regression testing across multiple releases.

Responsibilities

• Translate requirements and acceptance criteria into detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new features and enhancements.
• Execute manual functional, regression, and exploratory testing across releases to verify features work as intended.
• Identify, document, and reproduce defects with clear steps and evidence to support triage and resolution.
• Track defects through resolution and coordinate with Product Managers and developers for fixes and re-testing.
• Support user acceptance testing by preparing scenarios and coordinating stakeholder sign-off.
• Maintain test case libraries and documentation to reflect product evolution.
• Assess release readiness and communicate quality risks before go/no-go decisions.
