Job Title: Product Process Development Engineer

Job Description

The role supports the Manufacturing and Product Development organizations to enhance operational efficiency in production areas. The engineer will focus on optimizing both new and existing manufacturing processes to ensure production targets are met. This includes monitoring the performance of equipment, machines, and tools, and resolving issues that lead to non-conforming products, low yields, or quality problems. Collaboration with Quality and R&D teams is essential for integrating new products and processes into manufacturing.

Core Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with all relevant Corporate and Divisional policies and procedures.
• Lead and complete technical projects to develop or improve products and processes aligned with strategic goals (including current and next-generation programs).
• Analyze and solve engineering problems, ranging from basic to highly complex, using innovative or novel approaches.
• Apply engineering principles, theories, and concepts; work toward becoming a subject matter expert in a specialized area.
• Align tasks with company policies and customer/business needs, with awareness of the business cycle and emerging technological trends.
• Build and leverage internal/external networks to complete tasks effectively.
• Support the training and onboarding of new engineers and employees; may lead projects and define project goals and objectives.
• Provide mentorship by sharing technical knowledge, giving feedback, and offering guidance.
• Work cross-functionally and interact with internal and external customers; act as a technical consultant and spokesperson on key business capabilities.

Qualifications

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.

Experience / Skills Required:

• Technical Knowledge: Basic understanding of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures. Limited understanding of business unit/group functions.
• Regulatory Awareness: Will work in a quality-regulated environment (e.g., FDA, ISO). Errors may lead to non-compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Cognitive Skills: Applies professional concepts and follows company procedures to solve routine problems. Handles tasks of limited scope. Limited independent decision-making.
