Sandalwood Engineering & Ergonomics in Redford, Michigan, is seeking a passionate Product Owner to lead the development of next-generation computer vision and automated inspection solutions for manufacturing.

You will own the backlog, translate complex manufacturing needs into user stories, collaborate with plant teams, and drive agile delivery to improve first-pass quality, reduce scrap, and protect customers, with meaningful roadmap ownership.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline as listed.
• 4+ years as Product Owner/Technical PM or related roles in manufacturing/automation.
• Experience managing product backlogs with clear acceptance criteria.
• Experience in Agile or Scrum delivery models.
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Responsabilidades

• Own the product backlog and roadmap for vision-based solutions.
• Collaborate with assembly, stamping, and powertrain teams to define requirements.
• Lead sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and reviews as the primary product authority.
• Define functional specs including visual defect detection and presence checks.
• Coordinate deployment, training, and production validation.
