KPIT Technologies Ltd. in Dearborn seeks an experienced Product Owner for the System Engineering Team to lead product ownership, prioritize features, and align customer expectations with engineering deliverables.

The role requires deep automotive domain knowledge (ADAS/Chassis) and strong MBSE tooling proficiency (MagicDraw/SysMLv2). You will work in an Agile environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to system architecture and validation efforts in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of System Engineering principles.
• Experience in automotive domain (ADAS and Chassis).
• Hands-on experience with MagicDraw or MBSE tools on SysMLv2.
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum / SAFe).
• Good analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Product Ownership: define, prioritize, and manage system features and backlog.
• Ensure alignment between customer expectations and engineering deliverables.
• Analyze and interpret customer needs into actionable system requirements.
• Understand subsystem features, functionalities, and behavior; decompose requirements.
• Manage interfaces between features and subsystems; ensure cross-system compatibility.
• Support system architecture definition and validation; model with MBSE tools.
• Plan and participate in Agile execution: sprint planning, reviews, retrospectives.
