Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or similar delivery role.
• Experience with sales/enrollment applications, CRM platforms, and customer engagement solutions.
• Strong Agile delivery, backlog management, and stakeholder communication.
• Experience using Jira is a plus; regulated healthcare experience preferred.

Job Description

A leading healthcare organization is seeking a Technology Product Owner to support its Medicare Sales & Enrollment Technology team. This individual will serve as the bridge between business stakeholders and technology teams, translating customer, operational, and regulatory needs into actionable product requirements. The Product Owner will own the product backlog, guide Agile delivery, and ensure solutions drive measurable value for customers, agents, brokers, and the business.

Day-to-Day

• Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog based on business objectives, customer needs, regulatory requirements, and technical dependencies.
• Partner with business stakeholders and end users to understand workflows, challenges, and opportunities throughout the sales, enrollment, onboarding, and retention lifecycle.
• Translate business requirements into epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, process flows, and success metrics.
• Facilitate backlog refinement sessions and ensure work is clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers, Engineering, Architecture, UX, Data, Operations, QA, and vendor teams to design and deliver technology solutions.
• Support Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog grooming, sprint reviews, retrospectives, demos, and release planning.
• Provide ongoing guidance and clarification during development, testing, and deployment activities.
• Partner with QA teams to review acceptance criteria, validate test scenarios, and ensure quality releases.
• Support user acceptance testing, release readiness activities, production support, defect prioritization, and post-release validation.
• Serve as a key liaison between business and technology teams, communicating priorities, risks, dependencies, and delivery updates.
• Help drive readiness for critical business initiatives and large-scale releases.

Pay rate: 50-55/hr

Skills and Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, Business Analyst, or similar product delivery role.
• Experience with sales and agent enablement applications, CRM platforms, digital shopping or enrollment experiences, contact center technology, and customer engagement solutions.
• Strong Agile experience, including backlog management, user story creation, prioritization, sprint planning, and release management.
• Experience gathering requirements and partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver software solutions.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience using Jira or similar Agile tools. Experience in health insurance, particularly regulated business environments such as Medicare Advantage, Prescription Drug Plans, Medicare Supplement, or Medicare sales and enrollment. (HIGHLY preferred)
• Experience working in highly regulated environments or supporting large-scale release readiness efforts (AEP, compliance-driven releases, etc.).
