    • Create, maintain, and prioritize the product backlog (features and stories) from the product roadmap and strategic portfolio backlog.
    • Understand and communicate the business direction and vision to the team.
    • Ensure wireframes, prototypes, or workflows are created and signed off by stakeholders before work begins by the development team or vendor.
  2. Stakeholder Interaction:
    • Regularly interact with stakeholders to understand business value and prioritize work that delivers value to the customer.
    • Ensure features align with enterprise OKRs.
  3. Vendor Management:
    • Monitor vendor application release calendars and update the product roadmap accordingly.
    • Review release notes for impacts, enhancements, bug fixes, and new capabilities.
    • Communicate impacts to product owner peers and secure alignment and commitment to releases.
    • Share information about new vendor application capabilities and bug fixes that benefit the business and external clients.
  4. Agile and SAFe Alignment:
    • Coordinate with the product manager to ensure the product roadmap supports business goals.
    • Collaborate to ensure product features and enablers support strategic objectives.
    • Prioritize backlog to align with enterprise priorities.
    • Set and communicate sprint goals before each sprint.
    • Decompose features into user stories through story mapping.
    • Maintain a well-prioritized backlog with at least two sprints' worth of stories.
  5. Product Team Leadership:
    • Represent the product team to stakeholders, clients, and end users.
    • Work with analysts to build product expertise.
    • Lead the team in taking ownership of the product.
    • Write clear, testable user stories with acceptance criteria.
    • Groom and refine the backlog for upcoming Program Increments.
    • Manage the end-to-end release process for new features.
    • Ensure documentation, release notes, and support guides are up-to-date.
  6. Professional Conduct:
    • Perform duties outside normal hours as needed.
    • Follow change and incident management processes.
    • Remediate product vulnerabilities based on their criticality and age.
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field.
  • 4+ years experience as a product owner in a fast-paced environment.
  • Experience in the Commercial Banking industry preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with product management tools like Jira.
  • Industry certifications such as CSPO, SAFe PO/PM, or PSPO preferred.
  • Ability to adapt to new markets and translate requirements into a product vision.
  • Influence and support others effectively.
