Job summary

CopperPoint Insurance Companies is seeking a Product Owner for Policy Management in Irvine, CA to lead strategy, roadmaps, and delivery of policy lifecycle capabilities. You will connect business, technology, data, and operations to translate priorities into measurable outcomes.

You will prioritize the backlog, guide an agile squad, and ensure alignment with regulatory and customer expectations, delivering value across journeys and domains.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business, insurance, technology, analytics, or a related field.
• 7+ years of experience in commercial insurance (P&C) across product, operations, or technology
• 5+ years in product ownership, product management, or equivalent leadership role
• Deep expertise in at least one insurance domain (claims, underwriting, billing, etc.)
• Proven ability to own and deliver measurable business outcomes
• Strong understanding of Agile delivery models and product-centric organizations
• Experience leading cross-functional teams without direct authority

Responsibilities

• Define and execute the squad vision, strategy, and multi-year roadmap aligned to enterprise priorities.
• Translate business strategy into clearly defined objectives and measurable key results (OKRs).
• Lead and maintain an agile squad capable of responding to market, regulatory, and performance changes.
• Own the end-to-end lifecycle of product capabilities, from intake through delivery, adoption, and optimization.
• Ensure alignment across adjacent product domains and end-to-end value streams.
• Drive consistent and high-quality customer and operational experiences across journeys.
• Deliver measurable business outcomes and value realization aligned to defined objectives.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog with alignment to value, risk, and compliance.
• Balance delivery across features, tech debt, regulatory mandates, and stability.
• Ensure delivery readiness through clear user stories with requirements, acceptance criteria, and value.
• Serve as primary business owner and decision authority for the product across stakeholders.
• Partner with PM, engineering, architecture, UX/design, and data analytics to deliver scalable solutions.
• Accountable for agile delivery of high-quality, scalable, and compliant capabilities.
• Influence architecture and platform decisions for long-term scalability.
• Embed auditability, traceability, and governance in design and delivery.
• Foster a data-driven culture with analytics teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in product performance and delivery outcomes
