Job summary

NECSWS is seeking a Product Owner for Operational Policing Solutions to bridge business goals with software execution. You will own the backlog, help prioritize features based on user needs and business value, and guide cross-functional teams including UX and engineering.

You will collaborate with customers to gather requirements, manage the product roadmap, and ensure design consistency across OPS interfaces.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Product Owner or similar role in SaaS or software products.
• Strong communication, leadership and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Analytical and problem-solving mindset with data-driven decision making.
• Familiarity with design/product management tools (e.g. Aha!).
• Understanding of public safety market is preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Own the product backlog and prioritise features based on user needs and business value.
• Define and own the product vision and roadmap across OPS products.
• Collaborate with customers, product teams, developers and UX to align requirements.
• Evaluate and accept software releases to ensure quality and functionality.
• Support market research and competitive analysis to guide product decisions.
