Job summary

Gordon Food Service seeks a MMSC Technology Product Owner to lead development and execution of technology needs, improving end-user experiences and driving efficiency across supplier and customer relationships.

You will translate business needs into technical requirements, drive agile processes, and collaborate with internal and external developers while embracing AI/ML opportunities and ensuring robust metrics, communication, and education materials.

Qualifications

• 3+ years related experience in food service distribution or marketing.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Sciences or a related field.
• Excellent listening and communication skills both written and verbal.
• Experience working in a hybrid agile design, development and/or product management environment.
• Understanding of user-centered design principles is a plus.
• Experience with creating charts and graphs in Excel and Google Sheets for trending and performance.

Responsibilities

• Drive vision, technical development, testing, and maintenance of core technologies for MMSC.
• Identify and document user stories and use cases for new features.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for IT development.
• Explore opportunities enhanced by AI or ML.
• Coordinate with internal and external developers to implement solutions.
• Modify technology to reduce risk and improve systems.
• Create metrics to track progress and present findings to management.
• Develop educational content with internal teams and external partners.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
