Job summary

Gordon Food Service seeks a Product Owner for MMSC Technology to drive development and execution of tools improving day-to-day end-user experiences for suppliers and customers. You translate business needs into technical requirements and coordinate with developers to implement solutions.

With 3+ years in food service distribution or marketing and a business/Information Science degree, you will lead vision, testing, and maintenance of core technologies, using Excel/Google Sheets to visualize

Qualifications

• 3+ years in food service distribution or marketing.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Experience in hybrid agile design, development, or product management.
• Understanding of user-centered design is a plus.
• Ability to create charts/graphs in Excel & Google Sheets for trends.

Responsibilities

• Lead vision, technical development, testing, and maintenance of core technologies for MMSC.
• Identify and document user stories and use cases for new features.
• Translate business needs into technical requirements for IT development.
• Explore AI/ML opportunities to enhance solutions.
• Coordinate with internal/external developers to implement solutions.
• Modify technology to reduce risk and improve current systems.
• Create metrics to track progress and present to management.
• Develop educational content and processes with internal/external partners.
