Job summary

Tempus Technologies in the United States seeks a Principal Product Owner / Senior Product Manager to lead high‑complex, multi‑workstream initiatives in payments and financial services.

You will own the product vision, manage the backlog, align stakeholders on priorities, and partner with product, engineering, design, and delivery to ensure outcomes while benefiting from optional remote work.

Role Purpose

Required Experience / Expertise

  • At least 8 years of experience as a Product Owner or Senior Product Manager

  • Demonstrated ability to manage large backlogs, dependencies, and cross team coordination.
  • Comfortable operating in ambiguous environments with multiple stakeholders.

Ideal Profile
  • Experience serving as a lead or principal PO across multiple teams.
  • Background in scaling or stabilizing delivery in growing product organizations.
  • Familiarity with modern product delivery and agile practices.

This position may be eligible for remote work in select geographic locations, subject to approval by PNC. If approved, work must be conducted from a quiet, secure, and confidential home-based workspace. Occasional in‑office participation may be required based on business needs. Job Description

Owns the vision and definition of the product. Serves as the voice of the Customer. Ensures the Scrum Team(s) effort is concentrated on the right priorities based on business value. Defines and conveys the vision to the team(s) in order to address client requirements to ensure a successful product for business objectives. Accountable for the creation of and the integrity of the product backlog. Prioritizes and leads grooming of the product backlog. Works closely with the Scrum Master(s) and development team(s), to ensure the right items are focused on during the development process. Primary point of contact for questions from the team(s) and is empowered to make decisions.

Pay Transparency

Base Salary: $91,000.00 – $202,800.00 Salaries may vary based on geographic location, market data and on individual skills, experience, and education. This role is incentive eligible with the payment based upon company, business and/or individual performance.
