Job summary

Gesa Credit Union seeks a Product Owner I to lead the technical lifecycle of assigned products, coordinating development and budgeting while collaborating with stakeholders, developers, and vendors in an Agile environment. You will build roadmaps, document requirements, and ensure alignment with business objectives.

The role requires translating user needs into prioritized backlogs, guiding teams to deliver value, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Some travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year of product ownership/management experience in an Agile Environment.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field or equivalent experience may be substituted.
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Professional Scrum Product Owner I (PSPO I), or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Understand complex business problems and identify and interpret business needs.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies to align development with objectives and user needs.
• Develop near-term rolling-wave product roadmaps in collaboration with business owners.
• Define features and epics to communicate alignment with business objectives and scope of development.
• Collect and understand technical requirements to maintain product relevance and stability.
