Job summary

Mastercam is seeking a Digital Integrations Product Owner to manage and prioritize a backlog of epics, user stories, and defects to align development with business needs.

You will collaborate with stakeholders across the organization and work with scrum teams to refine backlogs, present strategies, and coordinate releases. A Bachelor's in engineering or related field and 2+ years in product management are required, with Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in product management or similar technical role within a software development environment.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred.
  • Hands-on experience refining backlogs, writing user stories, refining sprint ceremonies, and supporting release planning in Agile environments.
  • Product ownership experience for Salesforce technologies (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ/Revenue Cloud, integrations) strongly preferred.

Your Role at a Glance

The Digital Integrations Product Owner will manage and prioritize a backlog of epics, user stories, and defects to detail development topics and provide the necessary direction and guidance to the scrum teams. The Product Owner will work with stakeholders across the organization to ensure stories match business needs.

Product Quality and Customer Needs
  • Champion the team in building high-quality solutions that meet customer needs.
Requirements and User Stories
  • Identify business needs/define requirements for product features through the development of user stories.
  • Effectively present product ideas, strategies, and designs to stakeholders.
  • Coordinate releases in conjunction with development and quality control.
  • Create and maintain prioritized and detailed work item backlogs which accurately reflect customer and business priorities.
  • Provide clear visibility of progress towards completion of assigned projects.
  • Validate new features with stakeholders.
Roadmap and Release Planning
  • Work with leadership to contribute to long-term roadmaps and overall release planning.
Professional Development
  • Participate in applicable professional, technical, and career development training (to include attainment of associated qualifications where required).
  • May perform other duties as needed.

Education
  • Bachelor's Degree in engineering, related discipline, or equivalent experience.
Required Skills
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in product management or similar technical role within a software development environment.
  • Certified Scrum Product Owner preferred.
  • Hands-on experience working with Scrum teams to refine backlogs, write user stories, participate in sprint ceremonies, and support release planning in an Agile environment.

  • Proven time management skills and the ability to work and lead in a team environment successfully supporting others.
  • Above average communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to provide accurate and timely information in a succinct and easy to understand manner.
