Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking a senior Salesforce Product Owner to lead the global Sales Cloud roadmap, translate business needs into epics, and drive adoption across teams. You will collaborate with IT and architecture, manage stakeholder expectations, and deliver measurable value through iterative releases.

The role requires deep Salesforce experience, strong leadership, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, global environment with up to 10% travel.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field.
  • 8–10+ years of Product Management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • At least 5–7 years as a Salesforce Product Owner in a complex, global environment.
  • Experience with Salesforce Unlimited Edition, Data Cloud, or Agentforce preferred.
  • Thorough knowledge of Agile approaches (e.g., DAD, SAFe, Kanban) and Salesforce governance frameworks.
  • Expertise creating and maintaining User Stories, Product Backlogs and Product Roadmaps.
  • Ability to balance project delivery against limited resources using problem solving and project management.
  • Excellent communication across all levels of an organization.
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and intensity in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel: Independent travel up to 10%.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the vision and manage the strategic product roadmap for Salesforce Sales Cloud and integrated Salesforce solutions.
  • Represent the needs of Salesforce personas as the voice of the end-user.
  • Identify, document, and prioritize user stories in the product backlog.
  • Bridge business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure Salesforce delivers measurable organizational value.
  • Drive integrated team member and client experiences across the Salesforce ecosystem.
  • Partner with internal stakeholders to gather requirements and prioritize enhancements.
  • Lead a high-performing team and promote collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with the Salesforce Architecture team within IT.
  • Drive user adoption with the training team.
  • Communicate and champion product benefits to executive management, practice leaders, and stakeholders.
  • Own and evolve the Salesforce product roadmap across global teams.
  • Lead delivery of enhancements with the Salesforce technical team through sprint and release planning.

  • Groom the product backlog and plan release management with technical and functional delivery teams.

  • Oversee Salesforce change governance for compliance, scalability, and enterprise architecture alignment.
  • Stay current on Salesforce releases, features, and best practices.
  • Monitor platform performance, user feedback, and analytics for continuous improvement.
  • Supervise Salesforce product team members.
  • Interact with employees, clients, and external vendors.
  • Travel independently 10%

Requirements

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Internet navigation and research
  • Valid driver’s license required
  • Salesforce certifications preferred
  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull up to 30 lbs
  • Independent travel requirement: 10%
