Job summary

City Furniture, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner - Data Analytics to bridge business leadership and the technology team for data and analytics delivery.

You will define data needs, prioritize the backlog, and guide Agile ceremonies to ensure alignment with business goals. The role requires 3–5 years in BA/PO/DA, strong analytical and communication skills, and experience with BI tools (Power BI/Tableau/Looker).

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience as a BA, PO, or Data Analyst delivering data or reporting solutions.
• Ability to interview non-technical stakeholders and document findings clearly.
• Strong analytical skills; ability to read and question data to support decisions.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; translate technical concepts for business teams.
• Experience managing a backlog with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• BI/reporting familiarity from a requirements perspective: Power BI, Tableau, Looker.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence for backlog management and documentation.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Run requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders to understand processes, reporting needs, and decisions.
• Translate business questions into user stories, acceptance criteria, and clear requirements for the tech team.
• Define data needs: what data, where it lives, how defined, and what success looks like.
• Own and prioritize the product backlog for data and analytics initiatives.
• Represent the business voice in Agile ceremonies: Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Sprint Review, Retrospectives.
• Validate dashboards, reports, and data products against business requirements.
• Lead UAT to ensure solutions meet stakeholder needs.
• Help establish metric definitions and data governance standards across reporting language.
• Present analytics priorities, KPIs, and product updates to stakeholders and leadership.
