Job summary

Talent Management Plus, Inc. is seeking a Product Owner for Data & Analytics to lead the analytics ecosystem and align initiatives with enterprise goals.

You will guide BI Analysts and collaborate with Data Engineering to deliver data-driven insights across the organization. You will define the analytics strategy, establish reporting standards, and drive Agile delivery while partnering with FP&A, Strategy, and business owners to enable analytics adoption across the enterprise.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or data engineering.
  • 2+ years leading analytics teams.
  • Expert Power BI experience including DAX, semantic models, and visualization.
  • Experience with Databricks, SQL, and Lakehouse ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Experience serving as product owner for analytics or data-driven initiatives.
  • Strong Agile/Scrum leadership experience.

Responsibilities

  • Define and own the enterprise analytics strategy and multi-year roadmap, serving as the product owner for analytics initiatives.
  • Establish and maintain Power BI reporting and visualization standards to ensure consistency and usability.
  • Lead data governance, data quality, and data consistency efforts across the organization.
  • Drive Agile delivery, provide Scrum leadership, and manage backlog prioritization to maximize value.
  • Foster cross-functional partnerships with business units to enable analytics adoption and enablement.
  • Advance analytics maturity across the enterprise through structured programs and initiatives.
  • Collaborate with FP&A, Strategy, and business owners to enhance capabilities that support growth.
  • Prioritize analytics backlogs, drive adoption of new capabilities, and align initiatives with strategic programs.
  • Define reporting standards, semantic models, data definitions, and data quality practices.
  • Partner with business leaders to align analytics projects with enterprise programs and priorities.
  • Define and manage KPIs, dashboards, and actionable insights that support enterprise objectives.
  • Ensure the quality and consistency of enterprise reporting, including reports and data.
  • Lead business teams in delivering new analytics capabilities to advance the business.
  • Chair the Data & Analytics Steering Committee to prioritize and govern investments.
  • Develop, coach, and lead the BI Analyst team responsible for reporting, dashboards, UX design, and insights.
  • Maintain alignment among reporting, engineering, governance, and business stakeholders.
  • Establish team structure, goals, and a high-performance analytics culture.
  • Manage third-party vendor partnerships for analytics delivery and the BI budget.
  • Lead Scrum ceremonies, manage capacity planning, and ensure timely delivery of analytics solutions.
  • Promote continuous improvement in development processes, automation, testing, and documentation.
  • Establish and lead the organization’s data governance program, including data standards and metadata practices.
  • Partner with business units to enhance ownership of master data domains and scalable data models.
  • Improve data trust, lineage, and transparency across the enterprise.
  • Develop analytics insights addressing growth, margin, customer experience, and operational efficiency in distribution and related areas.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leaders on analytics opportunities and impact.
  • Demonstrate the ability to manage large programs from a tactical level and guide sponsorship as needed.
  • Influence effectively in a matrixed environment and provide clarity amid ambiguity through varied communication methods.
