Job description

Health Partners (PHP) is Oklahoma’s largest Direct Primary Care provider,

offering personalized, accessible healthcare outside traditional insurance

models. Through a membership-based approach, PHP focuses on quality care,

shorter wait times, and building lasting relationships between patients and

clinicians. The organization serves individuals and employer groups seeking

The role

You own the part of Primary+ that providers and clinical staff touch every hour of every day: charting, orders, results, medications, and the flow of a visit from rooming to close.

This is the hardest and highest-leverage product area we have. A clumsy order entry screen costs a physician ninety seconds forty times a day. You are the person accountable for finding those ninety seconds and getting them back.

What you'll own

• The backlog for clinical workflows — writing the stories, defining acceptance criteria, and accepting or rejecting the work engineering delivers.
• Direct, recurring observation in our clinics: sitting with providers and medical assistants, watching real charting sessions, and turning what you see into specifications.
• Requirements for clinical data exchange — lab and imaging results, e-prescribing, prescription dispensing, and health information exchange — working alongside our integrations engineers.
• Clinical terminology and coding behavior in the product, including diagnosis search and problem list management.
• Release validation with clinical users before anything reaches production.

What success looks like at 1 year

You can name the three slowest moments in a provider's day, with evidence, and at least one of them is measurably faster because of work you specified.

What we’re looking for

• Direct experience in outpatient clinical operations as a medical assistant, nurse, practice manager, clinical informaticist, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of ambulatory workflows, including the practical realities that don’t always appear in a workflow diagram.
• Very comfortable living in Jira, creating / reviewing technical specifications, creating user stories, testable requirements, ensure business requirement alignment with the development and QA team.
• Confidence to respectfully challenge physicians and explain the reasoning behind a decision.

Helpful but not required

• Prior work in an EHR product or implementation role.
• Familiarity with HL7v2, FHIR, ICD-10, or SNOMED CT.
• Experience in direct primary care or concierge practice.
