We’re looking for a seasoned digital product manager to take on the responsibilities of Product Owner within an agile scrum team. As Product Owner, you will:
• be the voice of the client within an agile scrum team
• develop a clear product vision, strategy, and roadmap that are aligned to broader strategic goals
• establish and be accountable for Objectives and Key Results (OKRs) for your product
• build out and maintain the product backlog by writing epics and user stories
• set the priority of work for the team
• create new digital capabilities, while ensuring the ongoing maintainability, security, performance, and viability of the product
• steer decisions based on your detailed knowledge of clients’ needs, feedback, and analytics
• ensure compliance of the product with risk, security policies, and architecture and technology standards
• support audit requests/activities and be accountable that evidence for adherence/compliance is available and up-to-date
• in addition to your Product Owner responsibilities within the agile scrum team, we are looking for your product management expertise to:
• understand client and stakeholder needs through research, analysis, and hypothesis testing
• assess and understand the market and competitive landscape
• understand the end-to-end client journey and how your product solves pain points along that journey
• ensure the product is being tested with clients to gain insights and ensure readiness to launch before market entry
• ensure clients have a high quality product experience by performing user acceptance testing (UAT), managing defects, and facilitating timely resolution of production issues
• lead certain agile ceremonies
• foster strong working relationships with stakeholders and ensure stakeholder alignment
• develop launch plans and collaborate with stakeholders on communications, marketing, and training
• coordinate reviews and approvals with legal, risk, compliance, and other control functions
• help with buy vs. build analysis and manage vendor relationships
• track product-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

The expected salary range(s) for this role as of the date of this posting is/are based on factors including, but not limited to, experience, qualifications, education, location and skill level. Your team
In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to products and services fulfilling client needs, and encompass multiple scrum teams called “pods”. You’ll be working in a pod within the Digital Client Platforms crew. The mission of our crew is to create a best-in-class multi-channel, digital experience for wealth management and banking clients, that complements the personalized relationship they have with UBS advisors.
Your expertise
• ideally 7+ years of digital product management experience, working on agile scrum teams as a product manager or product owner
• proven success delivering complex, digital products to clients within the financial services industry (e.g. wealth management, banking, or brokerage)
• translation of client needs into technology-driven solutions
• well-versed in tools such as Jira, GitLab, and Confluence
• you are client-obsessed
• value a hypothesis-driven approach to finding out exactly what the client needs as opposed to assuming we already know
• use data over opinions and ensure experiments are run to prove value, rather than make assumptions
• focus on client outcomes over output and deliverables
• team player with an enthusiastic and proactive personality
• strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• active listener with effective verbal and written communication skills
• detail-oriented
• follow-through on your commitments
• build networks and partnerships at all levels
