Job summary

HireOn Tech is seeking an experienced Business Analyst with strong KYC experience to partner with business stakeholders, compliance, and technology teams to deliver KYC and client onboarding solutions.

You will gather requirements, document BRDs/FRDs, and support SDLC activities from analysis through UAT while ensuring regulatory compliance and risk mitigation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services.
• Strong hands-on experience in KYC / Client Onboarding / AML / CDD / EDD.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience with BRD, FRD, User Stories, Process Flows, and UAT.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for KYC and onboarding.

• Define BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and specs.
• Analyze and optimize KYC/CDD/EDD processes.

• Coordinate with development and QA through the SDLC.
• Support UAT, defect analysis, and business validation.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for KYC and client onboarding processes.
• Work closely with Compliance, AML, Risk, Operations, and Technology teams.
• Define BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and functional specifications.
• Analyze and improve KYC/CDD/EDD processes and workflows.
• Support customer onboarding, periodic reviews, remediation, and KYC data management.
• Identify process gaps, risks, and opportunities for automation and optimization.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams throughout the SDLC.
• Support UAT, defect analysis, and business validation.
• Ensure solutions align with regulatory and internal compliance requirements.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in Banking/Financial Services.
• Strong hands-on experience in KYC / Client Onboarding / AML / CDD / EDD.
• Strong requirements gathering and documentation skills.
• Experience with BRD, FRD, User Stories, Process Flows, and UAT.
• Good understanding of banking operations, compliance, and regulatory processes.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Preferred

• Experience with KYC platforms, client lifecycle management, or regulatory technology.
• Knowledge of SQL, data mapping, APIs, and system integrations.
• Experience with JIRA/Confluence or similar tools.
