Job summary

United Launch Alliance seeks an Emulation Integration Software Engineer/Product Owner to lead Artemis Emulator workstreams, shaping the product vision and prioritizing features for ITE, MSIM2, and Sims teams. You will collaborate across hardware, software, and systems engineering to translate requirements into actionable user stories.

The role requires a STEM degree, 4+ years as a Product Owner in agile environments, and strong experience with C, C++, Python, and OO design.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related field from an accredited college or university.
• Experience as a Product Owner in an agile environment using Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence).
• Experience with software development practices including Git and CI/CD pipelines.

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and teams.
• Serve as arbiter of the integrated team's priorities.
• Plan program increments and sprints with multiple product owners.
• Own and manage the product backlog prioritizing value, impact, and feasibility.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications and user stories.
• Refine backlog items to adapt to changing requirements.
• Act as liaison between stakeholders and development teams; report on product performance.
