Job summary

United Launch Alliance (ULA) is seeking a Product Owner for the Artemis Emulator Integration team to work with the Responsible Systems Engineer and other Product Owners to integrate software models of Centaur V subsystems into a hardware-in-the-loop testing framework.

Core responsibilities include defining and communicating the product vision, owning the backlog, and prioritizing features based on customer value.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM or related technical field from an accredited college or university
• Experience working as a Product Owner in an agile development environment using an Atlassian tool suite (Jira, Confluence)
• Experience with software development best practices including Git or similar configuration management tools, CI/CD pipelines, test automation, containerization, release deployments
• Experience with systems engineering practices such as requirements development and decomposition, interface definition and ICD interpretation, traceability and acceptance criteria creation
• Experience collaborating across hardware, software, and systems teams; excellent verbal and written communication skills

Responsibilities

• Define and communicate the product vision and strategy to stakeholders and development teams
• Own and manage the product backlog with priorities based on customer value and technical feasibility
• Translate business goals into technical specifications and user stories; ensure requirements are clear and actionable
• Act as the primary liaison between stakeholders and development teams; shape product features from customer insights; report on product performance and drive improvements
