Job summary

enGen seeks a Product Owner to lead development and management of a service/analytic product within the organization, focusing on translating strategy into agile execution. You will align with leadership and stakeholders to deliver business value and ensure quality across multiple sprints.

The role requires deep product knowledge, market insight, and strong collaboration with Solution Architects, Business Architects, and external vendors to drive roadmaps and outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred.
• 3 years experience in Product Ownership, Strategic Consulting or Design Thinking OR Product Development & Management, Project/Program Management
• 3 years experience with external clients/fostering positive relationships and outcomes
• Agile certification from a known vendor (Scrum.org, SAFe, Scrum Alliance, etc.) preferred

Responsibilities

• Contributes to streamlining the execution of program priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features or components for the team.
• Breaks down features into user stories and translates product vision into business and functional requirements.
• Maintains a groomed backlog and supports multiple Sprints with acceptance criteria.
• Accepts stories as Done after testing and verification.
• Collaborates on product vision, strategy, and roadmap with stakeholders.
• Engages with external vendors to align roadmaps and drive delivery.
• Develops and communicates release plans and product capabilities to stakeholders.
• Writes clear user stories for new features and enhancements.
• Reviews test scripts to ensure coverage of stories.
• Performs other duties as assigned
