Job summary

Papigen in Washington, DC seeks an experienced Product Owner to drive vision, strategy, and delivery of enterprise applications built on the OutSystems platform. You will bridge business stakeholders and delivery teams to align priorities and deliver high-value features through Agile methodologies.

You will define roadmaps, manage the product backlog, write user stories and acceptance criteria, lead sprint planning, and ensure governance and architectural alignment across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, CS, or related discipline.
• 6+ years in Product Management or Product Ownership.
• Strong experience in Agile and Scrum environments.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale digital products and platforms.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including development, UX/UI, architecture, and business stakeholders.

Scope of Work & Key Responsibilities:

Required Skills & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in Product Management or Product Ownership roles.
• Strong experience working within Agile and Scrum environments.
• Proven experience managing enterprise-scale digital products and platforms.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams including development, UX/UI, architecture, and business stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of backlog management, user story creation, prioritization frameworks, and acceptance criteria definition.
• Ability to balance business objectives with technical constraints and delivery considerations.
• Strong decision-making, analytical, and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with OutSystems or other low-code/no-code application platforms.
• Knowledge of enterprise applications, APIs, integrations, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and modern application architectures.
• Understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD processes, and Agile delivery metrics.
• Experience leading modernization or platform transformation programs.
