Job summary

Progressive is seeking a Product Owner for the Supplier Data and Systems Management team to drive data systems supporting acquisition, rating, and underwriting. You will partner with External Data IT to ensure vendor data is integrated, and you will oversee data services development to meet evolving business needs.

This remote US-based position involves occasional travel to offices for meetings and training, with opportunities to influence enterprise data strategy and data-driven decision-making

Qualifications

• 10+ years in business systems or 7+ years with Bachelor’s degree or higher.
• Experience leading scrum teams and Agile projects in data/integration environments.
• Proven ability to elicit requirements and document them for technical teams.

Job description

As a product owner on the Supplier Data and Systems Management team, you'll play a critical role in meeting the growing demand for data across the enterprise. You'll partner with our External Data IT group to manage the delivery of essential data systems that support acquisition, rating, and underwriting processes. Your work will directly contribute to Progressive's industry-leading segmentation and data-driven decision-making by collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify and refine data requirements, ensuring vendor-supplied data is properly integrated into enterprise systems, and overseeing the development and enhancement of data services to meet evolving business needs.

This is a remote position for US based work only with occasional travel to an office for meetings and/or training.

Must-have qualifications

• A minimum of 10 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing, and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).
• {OR} Bachelor's degree or higher and a minimum of 7 years experience in business systems (e.g., systems integration, implementing technology solutions, project management, process design and optimization, testing and troubleshooting systems, training and supporting users, ensuring compliance and security, gathering and documenting requirements).

Preferred skills

• Demonstrated ability to lead a scrum team working in Agile methodology, fostering collaboration across teams and stakeholders, maintaining alignment with project objectives, and ensuring the successful delivery of technical solutions with a focus on data management and integration.
• Proven experience in requirement elicitation, project documentation, and delivering solutions that support complex business needs and technical systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate across teams, build relationships, and facilitate alignment within cross-functional groups.
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities while delivering high-quality solutions in an environment with complex technical, back-end solutions and dependencies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft products and other applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Azure DevOps, Mural, etc).

Compensation

• $98,400 - $131,200/year
• Gainshare annual cash incentive payment up to 30% of your eligible earnings based on company performance
