Job summary

Valiant Technologies LLC in Dallas, TX seeks an experienced Product Owner with deep knowledge of the Property & Casualty insurance domain to lead backlog prioritization and ensure business goals are met.

You will translate complex insurance processes into well-defined user stories, collaborate with stakeholders, development, QA and Scrum Masters, and participate in sprint activities to drive timely delivery aligned with Policy Administration, Claims, Underwriting, Rating, and Billing.

Qualifications

• Strong background as a Product Owner in the P&C Insurance domain.
• Knowledge of Policy Administration, Claims Management, Underwriting, Rating, and Billing.
• Experience with Guidewire or Duck Creek is preferred.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
• Expertise in Product Backlog Management, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Sprint Planning.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Insurance.

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into detailed user stories.
• Work closely with business stakeholders, development teams, QA teams, and Scrum Masters.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and UAT.
• Define product priorities and ensure timely delivery of business requirements.
• Ensure solutions align with P&C insurance business processes and objectives.

Required Skills:
