Job summary

Machine Learning Technologies, LLC is seeking an experienced Product Owner with strong knowledge of the Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance domain, Agile methodologies, product backlog management, and insurance business processes.

The role requires deep experience in Policy Administration, Claims Management, Underwriting, Rating, and Billing, plus familiarity with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) or Duck Creek.

Qualifications

• Experience as Product Owner in the P&C insurance domain.
• Knowledge of Policy Administration, Claims Management, Underwriting, Rating, and Billing.
• Experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) or Duck Creek preferred.
• Strong Agile/Scrum experience.
• Backlog management and producing well-defined user stories.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.

Responsibilities

• Own, manage, and prioritize the product backlog.
• Gather business requirements and translate into detailed user stories.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, development teams, QA, and Scrum Masters.
• Participate in sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and UAT.
• Define product priorities and ensure timely delivery of business requirements.
• Ensure solutions align with P&C insurance processes and objectives.

• In-depth knowledge of Policy Administration, Claims Management, Underwriting, Rating, and Billing.
• Experience with Guidewire (PolicyCenter, ClaimCenter, BillingCenter) or Duck Creek is preferred.
• Strong experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Expertise in Product Backlog Management, User Stories, Acceptance Criteria, and Sprint Planning.
• Experience working with Jira, Confluence, or Azure DevOps.
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and analytical skills.
• Knowledge of Personal Lines and Commercial Lines Insurance.
