Job description

We are seeking an experienced Product Owner to lead the delivery of features and enhancements within the Commercial Loan Origination system built on Salesforce Financial Services Cloud.

This role partners closely with Product Managers, Analysts, Solution Leads, and stakeholders to ensure prioritized, high-value work is delivered efficiently and aligns with business goals.

The Product Owner will oversee a scrum team, facilitate Agile ceremonies, and manage backlog to maintain continuous delivery flow.

Key Responsibilities

• Own creation, refinement, and prioritization of user story backlog.
• Conduct story card mapping and identify cross-team dependencies.
• Define acceptance criteria and ensure work meets the definition of done.
• Prioritize backlog to deliver highest‑value features.
• Provide clarification and context to development teams.
• Facilitate system demonstrations and support UAT testing.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Represent stakeholder needs while collaborating with technology partners.
• Coordinate timing and dependencies with internal and external partners.
• Escalate issues to Program Directors and stakeholders as needed.
• Support weekly and monthly status reporting.

Delivery Oversight & Scope Management

• Monitor agile team demand and capacity.
• Manage product lifecycle from requirements gathering through release.
• Ensure delivery aligns with defined business scope and requirements.
• Track scope changes and manage risks to maintain project integrity.
• Support roadmap and OKR alignment with Product Leaders.
• Provide transparency to leadership on project status and issues.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years experience as a Product Owner, Business Systems Analyst, or Business Analyst leading Salesforce application development.
• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce Financial Services Cloud or nCino.
• Banking industry experience (preferably Commercial Banking).
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in an onshore/offshore team environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Azure DevOps or similar Scrum management tools (e.g., Jira).
• Certification in Product Ownership, Scrum Master, or Scaled Agile Frameworks.
• Proficiency in creating documentation, wireframes, and workflows.
• Familiarity with program execution metrics and project management tools.
• Knowledge of data mapping and reconciliation techniques.
• Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Certifications

• Preferred: Product Owner or Scrum certifications.
